This is a fun, Christmassy (is that even a word?) tag that I found, and I thought I’d do it to kick off my winter break. I got the questions from the blog Books n’ Review Oh My, here’s the link to their post: https://booksnreviewsohmy.wordpress.com/2016/12/10/tis-the-season-book-tag/ I encourage you to go check it out!!!
Let’s get started!
1. Do you have a favorite winter read?
I don’t really have a favorite winter read, but I always like to read Harry Potter around Christmas because Hogwarts is beautiful in the winter.
2. Find a book with blue on the cover!
This one isn’t super blue, but it was the first blue book I happened to see on my shelf, so that’s what I went with.
3. Find a book you’d use as the star on a Christmas tree!
Okay, this one was hard but I’m going with Harry Potter and the Cursed Child because it’s goldish and if you ask me, that’s the most important quality in a star.
4. Pick one fictional place that would be perfect for a winter vacation!
Well, I already used Harry Potter to answer two questions, so I’m not going to use it again here. In that case, I would spend my winter vacation at Pemberly. I think it would be super cozy and I bet the Christmas decorations are gorgeous. Plus, Mr. Darcy – duh.
5. Pick one fictional character you’d take with you on your winter vacation!
I would take Emma Hawthorne from The Mother-Daughter Book Club series with me on winter vacation. I think we’d have a lot of fun together because we share an interest in books. Honestly though, I’d like to take all the girls from the series with me because they’d all be so cool to hang out with.
6. Name one book on your wish list this year!
Maybe this doesn’t count because it’s not actually out yet – and won’t be until May – but I really want the next book in Sarah J. Maas’ A Court of Thornes and Roses series!!!
7. Favorite holiday drink, treat, & movie?
Favorite holiday drink: Tea, chai tea especially
Favorite holiday treat: Probably my mom’s sugared pecans
Favorite holiday movie: White Christmas
That was fun – I’m not going to tag specific people, but if you’re reading this and you want to give it a go, then I tag you.
I’m really happy because we’ve had some snow already this year and I’m hoping for a white Christmas (which hasn’t happened in a long time here).
This is such a cute tag! I’ll have to do it next year, thanks for sharing! 🙂
